At St. John LaLande student council is made up of representatives from grades 5-8. They meet before school and work on school spirit and service projects.  One of their biggest projects is organizing the Viking Olympics during Catholic schools week.  They also have supported clothing and supply drives for hurricane victims and our local St. Vincent dePaul society.

Casual Dress for September 5th to Benefit Hurricane Victims

The 2017-2018 St. John LaLande Student Council is sponsoring a casual dress day to benefit the victims of Hurricane Harvey. The funds raised will be donated to the Heart to Heart organization to aid in flood relief. 
We are asking each student to donate at least $1.00 to the cause. Your donation will allow you to wear “casual dress” on September 5th, Tuesday, the first day we are back from the Labor Day Weekend. Please be generous! The money will be collected in homeroom.
